Dalit Itai co-founded as is presenting arts in 2015 together with Gal Canetti, after many years of serving in key roles at local performing art institutions – Tmuna Theatre (General Manager) and Batsheva Dance Company (Deputy Director for Planning and Communication) among others. Today, Dalit continues to lead as is, bringing her long and rich experience of managing, producing, representing and touring performing artists and companies locally and internationally. Over the years Dalit has acquired a deep knowledge of the local arts scene and of global tendencies and has advised and been a lector for local foundations and institutions.

as is strives to be socially responsible and act professionally and humanely, enabling the artists the best possible conditions for performing and creating. as is seeks artists who are on a constant pursuit of new performative means and new relevant themes, bold artists, unafraid of engaging political and sensitive issues, artists who have a coherent aesthetics and the ability and desire to engage in complex forms of artistic expression. as is, is a completely independent firm and does not rely on government or public support.
